By the end of the one day QI Silver training, you will:
- Understand the theory and context of quality improvement in the NHS
- Be able to develop the building blocks for delivering an improvement project – through the application of Improvement tools
- Demonstrate understanding of the PDSA cycle and its role in improvement
- Use the PDSA cycle to deliver a project
- Understand the importance and benefits of measurement for improvement
- Define measures for a specific project
- Know how to interpret data including Run and SPC charts and communicate the story
- Understand the concept of Reliability for healthcare
- Know how standardisation can enhance the quality of care we provide.
